Layne Lebo
LEAD PASTOR
Layne grew up at McBIC and joined the staff in 1991 as McBIC’s youth pastor. He also served as McBIC’s young adult pastor and executive pastor before becoming the senior pastor in 2001. Layne loves seeing people embrace God’s call on their lives to partner with Him in doing His work in the world, and he longs to see churches and followers of Jesus partner together as we seek to have God’s kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
Layne graduated from Messiah in 1988 with a dual major in history and Bible. He received his Master of Divinity degree in 1991 and Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001, both from Asbury Seminary. In addition to serving as McBIC’s lead pastor, Layne has also served in a variety of community organizations, including Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership and Jubilee Committee. He is currently serving his second term on the Mechanicsburg Area School District School Board. He and his wife, Greta, have been married since 1992 and have three children: Bronte, Treyton, and Kerrigan. They have lived in Mechanicsburg Borough since 1996 and enjoy investing in their local school system and in youth sports.
