We’re so glad you’re thinking of spending your Sunday morning with us at McBIC! Here’s what to expect to help you plan your morning—and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Service Times and Location
We meet for worship every Sunday at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at 1050 South York Street in Mechanicsburg. The services are identical in content, so you can choose whichever time works best for you.
Kids’ ministry and classes for adults are available during both services.
Parking
Parking is available on all sides of the building and in the lower lot to the right of the church. Extra parking is available in the auto auction lot behind the church, and handicap parking can be found by our front and left-side entrances.
Families with kids are encouraged to park on the left side of the church for easier access to our kids’ ministry. We invite first-time guests to park in front of the church so our greeters can meet you and answer any questions you might have.
What is your service like?
McBIC’s service is fairly relaxed and casual, and there is no dress code. Our pastors often wear jeans, so feel free to wear what makes you comfortable. On your way into the service, you can grab a free cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate from the Coffee Corner in our lobby.
You can expect our service to last approximately one hour, with times for singing, prayer, and a sermon from one of our pastors.
Our worship music style tends to be more contemporary, but some of our various worship teams also enjoy blending modern songs with traditional hymns. Check out our Spotify playlists to see what songs we’ve sung in previous weeks.
What programs are available on Sunday mornings?
During both services, McBIC Kids is available for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school students (K–5th grade). During the 11 a.m. service, elementary school kids join us in the service for worship and are dismissed to McBIC Kids before the sermon.
During the 9:30 a.m. service, our middle school and high school youth (grades 6 through 12) meet for Bible study with one of the youth pastors or adult leaders.
Various classes for adults are also available during both hours.
Connection Center
We would love to meet you and know that you decided to worship with us at McBIC! When you arrive, visit our Connection Center in the front lobby. One of our pastors will be there to say hello and answer any questions you might have about McBIC.
