Cody Sherry

High School youth PASTOR

Cody joined the McBIC staff in April 2017. As the high school youth pastor, he wants students to know the real Jesus and why He matters in their real lives. He loves encouraging students to walk out their own gifts—no matter what they might be—and to give glory to God every step of the way. Cody also really wants people to know Jesus wasn’t white ;)

Cody graduated from Messiah College in 2011 with a bachelor’s in Christian ministries. Prior to joining the McBIC staff, he worked as the director of outreach for Salt ‘n Light Youth Ministry. In addition to his pastoral work, he helps direct the Mechanicsburg Middle School musical, teaches voice and instrument lessons, and cheers McBIC’s high school youth at their sporting events. Cody loves Chick-fil-A, Juice & Java, volleyball, Spikeball, tennis, Harry Potter, and his hot tub.
