Half of our worship to God is about the love of neighbor. Summer's change in pace makes it a great time to serve!

This summer, our middle school students are encouraged to join us for three service days, spaced throughout the summer: one in June, one in July, and one in August. Below is a short description of each opportunity, but please don't sign up only for the ones that sound “interesting,” “easy,” or “fun.” While we'll enjoy our time together, these days aren't about what we get out of it, but what we can give to those around us. So if you're free that day, sign up and join us! Attendance at all three is suggested but not required.

Friday, June 23 – Yard work and upkeep at MASD school properties (Cost: $10 for lunch and work supplies)

• 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (drop-off and pick-up at McBIC)

• Lunch provided, bring refillable water bottle

Saturday, July 15 – Salt 'n Light Youth Ministry's "Serve the 'Burg Mission Day" (Cost: $25 for S’nL’s registration fee, see event page here)

• 8 a.m.–8 p.m. (drop-off and pick-up TBD)

• Pack and bring your own lunch, dinner provided

• Please do not sign up on S'nL's page. Sign up at the link below and Evan will be sure to sign up everyone as a group with S'nL.

Thursday, August 10 – Foster care support activity (Cost: $10 for lunch and work supplies)
