At McBIC, we believe that counseling, healing prayer, and support within community are a significant part of the freedom and good news that Jesus came to preach to the poor and oppressed.

A team of volunteers partners with McBIC’s pastoral staff to provide care to our congregation through hospital visits, meeting practical needs, and through prayer. To share your prayer and care requests with our pastors and care team, email care@mcbic.org.

Healing Prayer Ministry

McBIC’s Healing Prayer Ministry is a ministry of the Holy Spirit moving through a Christian facilitator, bringing the healing presence of Jesus Christ into the place of pain and brokenness within a wounded person. This ministry is available on an individual basis or through our Healing Care Groups. Contact Pastor Susan for more information.

Healing Care Groups

The Healing Care Group curriculum is a small group experience designed to help people who are struggling with emotional and spiritual brokenness. The group offers individuals a safe place to heal from deep wounds, false beliefs, damaged emotions, and dysfunctional behaviors in a confidential small group setting.

Groups are for both men and women. We typically offer new groups every spring. Contact Pastor Susan for more information.
