God of Freedom

Wednesdays, 9–11 a.m. (10–11 weeks, beginning Feb. 8)
Women's class led by Deb Feil
Cost: $30

The exodus of the Israelites shapes our understanding of the whole Bible, its themes reverberating all the way to Revelation. Exodus is the birth narrative of a nation unmistakably guided by the Great Deliverer. In this women's study, we will go verse-by-verse in Exodus 19–40. Jen Wilkin shows us that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. We will learn the deeper theological implications of stories we may have known for years, understand how God protects His children and prioritizes their worship of Him above all else, and explore how God provides deliverance for His children to be able to worship Him freely.

The "God of Deliverance" study (Exodus 1–18) is not a prerequisite to participate in this study.

Cost includes a copy of Jen Wilkin's book, "God of Freedom." Register by Sunday, Jan. 29 to receive a copy of the book. Those who register after Jan. 29 will need to purchase their own book.
